thomaspowell_powells_control_gem has no real functionality. It exists purely as a control/baseline: to see how many downloads a gem accumulates by default (bots, mirrors, CI, dependency scanners, etc.) with no README-driven traffic and no promotion, as a comparison point for Thomas Powell's other, real gems. Do not depend on this in production code.
